For 20 years, Martha's Body Bueno was the first and only store in Albuquerque selling adult items with a focus on having a safe, clean, and healthy environment in which women of all ages would feel comfortable shopping for adult toys. Although at first, M felt a little weird selling these products, she did so discreetly in her well-known body care and gift store. Over time, she realized that women were thanking her regularly, and doctors were sending women to her store, and women were bringing in their friends, and daughters were telling their mothers. It became apparent that there was (and still is) a need for an environment in which liberated but discreet modern women can be confident that they will not be scorned or shamed or even noticed while shopping for “adult” items. And, they knew when they walked out the door of Martha’s store, discretion continued, because that bag could just as well contain body lotion, or bubble bath, or a gift basket.

Now, that same discretion still dominates with the anonymous safety of on-line sales and shipping. We are first and foremost, a body care and accessories store, specializing in all-natural indulgent necessities for the skin (and thereby the psyche). To our way of thinking, taking care of your body includes and extends to the excitement and relaxation associated with sex. We believe in the soothing or stimulating effects of aromatherapy, and we believe sex can be both soothing and stimulating.
